Default If I want to also play project Quarm

So I have P99 on my computer. If I also want to play on Quarm. Does that mean I have to have a second installation of EQ on my computer . I cannot have both servers from one download right?

Yeah, you’re right to ask. You’ll need a separate installation. Project 1999 and Quarm use different server files, and running them from the same directory will cause conflicts.

From what I remember reading on the forums, the easiest way to handle it is to create a new folder for Quarm, copy the entire EverQuest directory into it, and then run the launcher from folder.

Just be aware that you’ll need to patch both installations separately. The forums have a few threads on it—look for posts about "dual installations" or “running multiple servers.” You’re likely to find some older advice about tweaking eqclient.ini, but generally, a clean copy and patch is the way to go these days.
