Placeholders stuck spawning on green

Is it possible to check what's up with the mob spawns. Buddies not able to spawn quill. I've been doing the forager cycle for 3 hours with no named mobs showing up.

It's just random. It's a streak. It happens.

There are loads of posts just like this on this forum. Usually the next post is "Never mind! It spawned!"
