All GMs up to including Sirken were in cahoots with various guilds and tipped them off about timers and loot.

Sirken PERMA banned people in-game if they said ANYTHING about it, even if they said it on the forums only.

Nearly all guilds fudged the "guild bank" numbers to steer loot to their friends. "Oh, this Ruby Tear was reserved because reasons..."

Every single senior guild officer and especially guild leaders have crippling real life issues such as disability, injury, or addiction. I've heard stories of people ignoring their children or bringing their laptops to funerals, or pulling over on the highway, so they can make a raid.
