Even if you don't have a damage calculator, you can see that Claw is better than Fang offhand. Some mechanical knowledge and mathematics in the 6th grade are required. Offhand only benefits from the ratio with the damage bonus. A higher ratio is an immediate advantage. At this point, all +ATK is too strong and the advice is ignored.
