![]() The following thread is closed which makes sense because is from so long ago:
https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2651 back then it made sense to use the Titanium client >> I asked about rewriting the login server and was told that the answer was just use the rain of fear client - but when I search I get: EverQuest Rain of Fear is a downloadable content expansion for EverQuest, developed and published by Sony Online Entertainment. It was released on November 28, 2012, and is available on Steam. However, the Rain of Fear client is no longer available for direct download from Steam. ^ so I doubt it is steam ( valve loves gamers ) they have best new employee handbook: https://www.theverge.com/2012/4/21/2...employees-leak >> So I guess time to lawyer up - contact Daybreak directly - get their story then call up Valve and get their side of it I know 2 cool lawyers that will probably work pro bono - got to bribe one with whiskey ! the other one is Jewish, he is very kind and is very old and suffering from parkinsons - he was a divorce lawyer and is retired now and I am sure with his gentle heart he would strive to have a peaceful divorce that was fair to both sides >> lawyer things do not move fast - the obvious solution is that can download (Titanium / Rain of Fear / Meat Popsicle / ... ) version from Steam and pay the original price to Daybreak: Reasoned about cost of EverQuest editions for 6 seconds At their original retail prices, the combined cost was roughly $150—about $50 each for the original EverQuest, Kunark, and Velious expansions. Keep in mind that prices might have varied slightly based on region or specific editions, but $150 is a good ballpark figure for the three together at launch. ^ that seems reasonable - that is what we willingly paid back then and you can pick original *only* which is $50 ( p99original) later on once you get at least one char to 50 and get bored tired - pay another $50 and be transferred with all your gear for *one* char only without any plat ( that is where the expression came from - you can't take it with you ) | ||
