Rules regarding camps on this server...

You shouldnt be able to hold a camp if you are afk. You shouldnt be able to claim 3 different camps if you can only maintain a presence at one camp at a time.

On prexus everything was FCFS, you knew it and so did everyone else. You come into zone call camp check, if someone calls a camp and you go to this camp and find it empty...its now yours. If someones AFK at a camp, and you come to the camp...its yours. Thats how it was, and this way was alot easier. Less QQ'ing and petitioning if you know you're AFK at a camp you're going to lose it. Not to mention if a named spawns in a zone, and someones claiming that camp but isnt even clearing mobs near it or engaging the named, that mob should be yours as well as the camp if you so wish.

I'm not trying to change any rules here or bitch about the rules in place, just saying they're lame as hell. Specifically talking about the Jade prod camp, as well as others that I cant think of. Im curious to see whats going to happen when epic quests come out, are we going to have special rules for all of the long tedious camps involved in those quests? or is it going to be an all out fubar fest? lol I know if i sit for 2 days camping VSR and some jackass tries to come along saying hes on a list I'll probably tell him to fuck off and die.

Im just looking to see what people think about these "special rules" in place for certain camps...It seems like alot of bullshit to me

I think we made our own bed, and now we have to lie in it. I'm happy with the camp rules the way they are now. I get secretly delighted every time I see one of you whiny little cunts crying to get the rules changed to your advantage, only to get shot down by the staff. If someone comes to your camp, and you go AFK, the camp is theirs? That's your suggestion? Seriously? Your Prexus rules are retarded. On Veeshan, if you came to a camp, and it was taken, you either tried to steamroll them and face the music when the GMs showed up, or you went somewhere else. Shut the fuck up about the prod camp already. I can't be the only one that's tired of hearing about it.

The prod camp is fucking retarded because you have the same virgins sitting there for a week straight and racking up half a dozen prods to dominate the market. It's not the AFK'ers that ruin camps, it's the young entrepreneurs that try to corner a P99 market via RL unemployment. Thank Jesus that Krispy Kreme doesn't deliver, otherwise it might actually work.

but holding multiple rooms? are there actually special rules for specific places, because you can't do that according to the roolz

I wanna say this is in regards to the idol/CoS camp in droga? but not sure. Which reminds me- anyone else remember people trying to sell CoS for 120k when Kunark launched?

yea, that was pretty laughable. CoS, while irreplaceable, is so easily farmed that we inevitably were flooded with them. I'd imagine the first 5-10 sold for over 30-40, but I'd wager there are > 150 prenerfed here now.
