Default I know why

I've figured out why nobody is posting!
You guys are busy watching real football going on right now in Las Vegas.
A few points to remember.
  1. The field is smaller with less outer runoff.
  2. It is the very first games of our season.
  3. Both teams have a team and reserves. You both attack AND defend depending on the run of play.

Some numbers.
Out of 40,000 tickets sold 25,000ish are Aussies/NewZealanders, a further 10,000ish believed to be superleague/poms.
So 5k yanks want to look (another 5k may be walkins partway through).
One commentator said thats not many, another (who was cut off) said "well, there is some betting going on..."

The field being smaller discourages corner shenanigans (a large part of some plays) many vectors with 3-4 large men at speed end up 3 meters outside the field of play. And many meters behind the ingoal.

There is only 2 games. We usually get 6 or 7 (depending on number of teams in comp). But bet365 is a major sponsor so well... anywho.

Betting fucks everything (sports related).
Proves me wrong.

Sidenote:
The 13 yr old is really trying to interest me in your NFL.
He is failing. He loves the nfl ps5 game. But i take him to his rugby union games he plays and he shuts up. He is pretty good at fullback (IMHO) and that's what worries me.
Good times.
