Default Were new spell graphics disabled?

I used to have a separate file where somehow I had enabled the new graphics of spells, but I logged in and it told me that I needed to update my spell file, I downloaded it from the site, and then it let me play, however all the spells look like they did originally.

I know its not classic, but I really prefer old character models with new particle effects, has this been disabled?

yea you probably used to have my patch. Devs ubernerfed my patch so you HAVE to have *their* spellfile. No idea why it's so critical that we have classic spell gfx.. these spells hurt my eyes. I want the classic gameplay not the sh*tty graphics.

Let me know if you find a way to get new spell gfx. I REALLY like them. Especially the lightning [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
