Smithing, post 65?

All the guides that are listed on the wiki or here say that I should be able to make dairy spoons, fillet knife, skewers and pots to skill up.

Fillet Knife and Dairy spoon combinations don't work
Skewers and Pots are trivial to me.

So aside from banded masks, what can I actually make for skill?
