![]() This is about my 3rd attempt to install Titanium. I've even erased my files and started over twice. I've solved a couple of missing file issues but when I try to launch EQ, it runs the patcher for several minutes and fails to connect.
I haven't changed anything except to update my drivers and I'm trying to follow the guides I've found, but nothing works so far. What did I miss please? All this installing and patching and reading has made me antsy to start playing like i did in 2000 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Please help?

![]() Hello Valea, I don't think it's supposed to patch. I'm not home at the moment, but seems like you launch a .bat file once you have installed and manually patched. If no one else responds, I'll check when I get home.

![]() Yes if it patched anything at all you have to start the installation over but you may be ok since it failed to connect.
Assuming you have done all the account setup steps from the guide on the p99 home page and copied and pasted the p99 specific files into the eq folder where you installed it you just need to use the "Launch Titanium.bat" file that was part of those p99 specific files. Delete the everquest shortcut the installer puts on your desktop, and you can make a new shortcut to the "Launch Titanium.bat" if you like.

![]() Do not patch the game. Sounds like you need to read the installation guide more carefully https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2651
