Best at farming? Probably halfling druid wielding a Wee Harvester.

Complex question. If you are going after something that spawns in a static place then Tuna nailed it. If you are looking for something that can appear anywhere in a zone (Forager cycle for example) then you are looking for something like a Druid (can both track and pet track after 55) or a ranger (largest tracking range, capable of soloing many things at higher levels).

this really depends on what you are talking about by farming (and if you mean solo or in a group). regardless, generally enchanter>shaman>>necro>mage>>everything else.
best all around farmer is almost certainly enchanter due to their ability to charm thereby soloing content meant for entire groups, crowd control, and pacify/invis/ivu through dungeons. they are able to do some pretty insane stuff, but it often relies on RNG with charm breaks resulting in certain death and corpse recovery. shamans are the best high value item farmers because pound for pound they can kill things solo that simply cant be solo'd by any other class. this usually requires torpor, epic, malo, etc.... but if a mob is slowable and can be outhealed with torpor, they can pretty much solo it and likely do it reliably without risk of death (not so true of the high risk high reward of enchanters). they have minimal CC and ability to sneak through a dungeon, so this can be limiting however. necros are extremely versatile and great farmers, but generally cant do the high value stuff that enchanter and shamans can do. due to the fact that many of their utility spells only apply to undead, they are slightly limited to zones with undead mobs. in those zones, they can do great, and get feign death which is very handy. mages are decent farmers for easy stuff. the lack of CC and the pets inability to solo higher level mobs limits them in some ways, but for killing green cons with rare high value drops or just farming things like fine steel from paineel guards, they are the best (and most braindead) class to do it. that said, every class CAN farm things, it just becomes more niche. druids and wizards are great for farming in outdoor zones or for stuff like ancient cyclops in SRO. they also can make decent plat porting people around. monk/warrior/cleric can all be used effectively in farming for stuff like fungi tunic.

Yeah it really depends.
Druid/Bard can PL people for a lot of money if you can become a reliable part of that market. They can also farm plat from killing lots of easy stuff. Druid/Wizard can teleport people for money. Enchanter is great at camping a lot of high value items like Chardok 2.0 loot, Sirens Grotto loot like the Seahorse haste belt, etc. But this is very high risk, high reward content. You need a good amount of skill, too. Shaman is great at camping other kinds of items that sell well, like West Wastes Dragon loot, some Chardok 2.0 loot, etc. Shamans are a bit more consistent than Enchanters because their playstyle is safer, but they are very expensive to gear. Necromancers are a little more limited in terms of fighting the kinds of mobs that Shamans and Enchanters can do, but they are still great money farmers, especially if you like killing guards. I think Necromancers can do Drusella (Spirit Wracked Urn) if you want a high value money camp, if you have the time to do it. It really comes down to what you WANT to camp, and how much time you have available to play in general. Also, some classes are great for farming if you like to farm in groups. Cleric always comes to mind. If you can consistently get groups that do high value money camps, they will generally want a cleric around of resing and healing. Same with Monk, they are useful for pulling some money camps like Fungi Tunic.

I think in classic its enchanter, but kunark its necro or monk because f killing all the trash that has the good loot.
In velious its back to the big boyo shaman and enc though, but mage epic can clear lots of the crystal caverns type areas well without having to think or do anywork. IMO

Shaman is good once you’re fully twinked out, including torpor and epic depending on what you’re trying to go after.
Until then it’s enchanter and then Necro

Enchanter is the #1 answer. The amount of plat you can make at level 60 with virtually 0 gear is unmatched.
HOWEVER, I have made A LOT more plat on my monk vs on my enchanter. Duo king, Duo juggs, etc.
