Game Mechanics: Faction hits being listed differently, typo or bug?

My druid atm is undertaking a quest to become friendly with as many factions as possible. That includes Neriak because I am weird. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Right now he's level 26 and at a good level to start killing the rogue dwarf guards at the ruined tower in Butcherblock, to get started on my Neriak rogue guild faction. I noticed something off though when I killed my first guard.

His faction hit was listed as "EbonMask" got better. I could have sworn that I had seen that faction listed as "Hall of the Ebon Mask" before, so I logged off and immediately made two rogues to turn their notes in, a dwarf and a dark elf. These were the dialogues/faction hits I got.

So they are definitely registering as "Hall of the Ebon Mask" with the first one being the exact reverse of the hits you get from killing the guard. I just need to know if this is simply a typo or if in fact the guard faction hits are actually registering as some unknown faction. Only making sure of this before I go further and dig a faction pit I'll have to work on later for absolutely nothing.
