Default EQ Window Brightness

Not sure this is sine the nVidia patch two days ago but whenver I run EQ P99 now, a the EQ splash screen (login screen is fine) it flips and goes MEGA bright - too bright to see anything....

Anyone experiencing similar issues?

Not experiencing anything like. You can try adjusting the NVidia gamma

Right click desktop -> NVIDIA Control Panel

Then on the left side its under Display > Adjust desktop color settings

Set to Use NVIDIA settings and then adjust the Gamma slider until its good

Thanks, was very strange. Also noticed that the gamma level within the eqclient.ini was being changed after I logged in and out - it looked like it was being "upped" (probably by the new nVidia update) a few seconds before loading/splash screen appeared....

Will feed it back to nVidia.

It is gamma more than anything I think, things were just so different even in Titanium.

I find lowering Gamma works in game, or ya messing with NVIDIA Control Panel is very powerful with EQ as nothing is really done by the client so you have to do it all manually. Put Low Latency mode on too, there is a lot of things you can do with NVIDIA Control Panel.
