Game Mechanics: Gem drop rate in howling stones

Since epics were released, the drop rate of common gems has gone down significantly while leveling in Howling Stones. I don't have hard data to back this up and it's purely subjective. I don't know if any other kunark dungeons were affecged this way. There is mention from the original developer notes for the epic release about changing drop rates from sebilis and VP, so I'm wondering if that's what affected this? The only thing is having played a character through HS on blue and now one in HS on green, the drop rates are different between the two servers. Again, subjective. In terms of the gems, it's all gems that drop in HS.
