Can't make race/class missing from character creation screen.

I just downloaded this game again today. I decided I want to make monk, and they say to make Iskar Monk in my research. I can't make Iskar, the button for Iskar is not there so I can only make human monk. There's 4 gaps in between various races and 3 gaps where classes should be. Background of character creation screen is also black, I don't know if it's supposed to be black.

Server is currently classic. You can't make Iskar until Kunark. Not sure about the black background.

I logged on the game and I can only see npcs and water, everything else is black.
