Don't forget about the regular vendor-bought weapons. I run into a lot of people who seemingly aren't aware they even exist. At something like ~3.6 Platinum for a 6/31 Axe, with a good buyback price rivaling some gems, there's little reason not to "rent" one until better weapons are available. Beats trying to use tarnished/etc into the teens.

Love how a club that's breaking apart is more valued on the Norrath Merchant Resale Market than a rusty scimi or broadsword. Good thing I developed a powerful suspension of disbelief in 1999 and it hasn't worn off yet.
