I love this question, doesn't get asked enough.

1st) Troll shaman in rubicite plate turning into a dark elf.

2nd) Halfling druid

3rd) Anything ranger


For actual utility? Ogre warrior.

I have a topic similar to this on page 2 or something, but mine lists the class for fashion and is the non DE playables only ;D

Druid for fashion is pretty much not too different to Cleric, but Rangers and Paladins make very unusual and unique Dark Elves, especially with a guardian or azure robe with their flaming or electrified weapons.

The best answers to this question will be any class that a dark elf can't be, especially paladin and ranger. Next on the list would be ogres in general.
