Strong classes @ 50

So green will be at 50 for a while, and i know alot of classes really arent that good at 50.

Wizards get conflag which is huge damage to mana ratio but i know most will focus on pet classes. Half of the playerbase will be mage or ench and i dont want to be yet another fire pet tard so im thinking nec.

How is the 49 pet invoke death any good?

Charm in guk reliable? What about later in seb charming ghouls and other crap in charasis and stuff?

Shams get a very strong dot at 50 dont they envenomed bolt?

Honestly I always felt like necro power peaked at 50. 49 is just incredible. Your pet is strong, your dots are strong, you get Lich, you get Paralyzing Earth. Nothing summons. Post-50 the only thing that really felt as strong was when you could charm-solo in HS. I never tried to charm solo in guk, but you can definitely solo the Frenzy camp as a 50 necro.

Necros, Druids, and Rangers I feel have a super strong 49 compared to a lot of classes.

Agree with this. Post 50 things went janky in search of ever expanding frontiers for power gamers and mudflation.

On blue classic, necro could solo EVERYTHING in lguk. They'll be able to on green too, but it'll be different since there have been changes to a lot of mechanics since then. FD while keeping a charmed pet and LoSing spellcasters and shit were things back then, etc. Plus the server population and player mindsets will likely be a lot different.

Have to disagree there - I don’t think necro could solo live side king camp. A necro could maybe split it with fd (would be really challenging due to all the roamers ) - but without room to fear kite the bok+ - even at 49 they would chew through the pet

Mmm. I know I never did it back then, but I am pretty sure I knew people who did. There was a lot of potential for funny business with binding in lguk by the portal.
