Default "Soundtrack Enhancement"

So many years ago I noticed the music ingame didnt sound quite right, I found the thread "how to make music sound significantly better" and installed some stuff to fix it.

Now I wonder is this known to most p99 players and have the Staff done anything to remedy the ingame music?

Apparently it has something to do with Windows MIDI capabilities not being up to snuff with the old skool files...

After suggestions from computer savvy friends Ive caved in and are gonna update from Win7 to Win10 for security resasons. Im skeptical as I could imagine the update screwing over my Working MIDI renditions of Jay Barbeu's wonderful tunes.

Remember you modify your audio files at your own risk.
