Rubicite full sets.

Out of curiosity who all has one?

I know myself (fleamarkit) has a full visible set.

I've got a full visible set with 2 bracers.

Woolyspider has 2 sets, I have collected 4/7 of the vis pieces (missing gaunts, bracer, arms)

Rubicite isn't as valued on P99 as it was on live in the classic era.

I still want to get it though. If green is a timeline server and I play it, my objective will be to get a suit of rubicite, or at least the breastplate.

Why was it removed? Doesn't seem like anything spectacular outside of BP which I would hardly call OP.

I am also interested. +3 hp regen per tick? Doesn't even compate to Fungi. Was it the sheer amount of them dropping and everyone had one? Or am I just missing the obvious

Remember that it also predated, and was replaced by, class specific armor quests.and temple of Ro quests. So what was good armor for many classes was all in one zone. Maybe it was always intended to be temporary like how jboots dropped in najena.

Again, on classic it seemed to have been much more coveted after it was removed vs p99. Lot of hype about guide and magazines on green but haven't seen anyone even mention rubicite yet.

Yeah basically, it gave Rogues, Bards, Shamans, Paladins, Warriors, Rangers, all of them, the same max AC by gear.

It was replaced with class armor with higher and lower AC distributions for the various types of melee classes.

Same deal with Lustrous Russet armors.

Edit: RE why it wasn't so coveted here, the stats provided by this only slightly magically imbued armor were left in the dust when Kunark came out.

Take the rogue class armor for example.

If I recall correctly it was due to the sheer amount of issues from players fighting over it in CT. At least, that's what I heard that one time.
