Apologies.. and help?

When I go to the initial character screen, the frame rate is miserable and my character is invisible. I've followed the install process twice, newest files, everything worked perfectly on my desktop computer but not this laptop.

I tried the patchme shortcut on eqgame.exe after correcting eqhost.text, it falls to connect to the server. (Didn't need to do either of these steps on my desktop)

All programs are running as administrator in compatibility: windows XP SP2

Windows update has nothing new to offer (windows 10)

It will be a long and tedious process but I can attempt to update all drivers. Although I don't have a problem connecting I simply have graphic and frame rate issues.

I also seem to be terrible at searching these forms because it always ignores all but the first word I use.... Obnoxious.

Any and all help would be amazing, I have no idea what else to do.
Brand new to EverQuest.
