Default Audio Stuttering

Hello all,

I've been having trouble finding a solution to this on the forums. I've been searching, and trying things out. The game has a very bad audio stutter for me. Imagine playing while someone is constantly tapping the mute/unmute button, and it will effect everything else until I reset. Music in the background on YouTube, as an example, will stutter once I load up P99.

I haven't had this issue on this system before. I also am not convinced it is the P99 client, but I also really don't understand what is going on. If I plug in a headset the audio stutter will stop until I move my character.

Has anyone encountered something similar? I've tried WinEQ, though it didn't change anything. The audio stutters. I adjusted my FPS to 60. I tried 30 FPS to see if it happened to be the framerate, but that changed nothing. I did also run DuxasUI recommended install, but I doubt that caused the problem. I've used DuxasUI in the past on this system. A fresh install did not fix this. I'm thinking it may be a computer setting that the old EQ client doesn't quite agree with.

I'm not sure why it's a problem now, but not in the past with the same computer. Maybe a driver update? Thank you.
