Default Game crashes upon camping

I'd say about nine times out of ten when I go to camp, upon camping and going through the loading screen the game will black out and I'll get a pop up box of some kind telling me the game has crashed. I've gotten three different ones so I can't remember off hand what exactly they all said.

Vaguely, one was an error message with a number string, one was saying something about the game missing {} (It specifically only had {}, there was nothing inside it), and the third I would get asked me if I wanted to send a crash report to SOE. To be clear, I didn't get all of these together or in any combination. Each crash I only got one pop up box.

The one out of ten times the game didn't crash I'd get back to the character select screen as normal but my screen will, for some reason, be very slightly brighter. As though the contrast got turned up just a bit. This has stuck beyond closing out of the game, as well, and also seems to have the effect of muddling with my audio in some way.

I normally listen to youtube videos at 20% volume and I can hear everything just fine, but after this error I can have my volume all the way up to 100% and the audio still sounds weaker and less audible than my usual 20%. In-game audio hasn't been affected in the slightest, and in fact may actually have been slightly louder. It was hard to tell, as after adjusting my volume outside of the game I didn't think to readjust when I went back in and accidentally blasted myself.

If we can't figure out what's going on I'll just see if starting to camp and then alt+F4'ing at the 5 second mark or so is a feasible work around.
