Default Disarm causes no drop weapon to poof.

A successful disarm on a sarnak berzerker (Overthere zone) caused the sarnak warbraid to poof. I did it 3 different times (doh). That was around 12am-1am EST March 30th. It was not on the corpse and the corpse faded after looting.

When I disarmed a sarnak berzerker, the braid fell to the ground.

so in theory you could trade a no drop weapon to a charmed monster, break charm, then disarm it and it would drop to ground, resulting in being able to trade no drop weapons?

Note the sarnak braid is not a magical weapon.. so, your theory would not work.

Is everything with this working appropriately? I played a paladin during my disarm days, and success was not common!

I always assumed disarm only worked on junk weapons like rusty and fine steel.

Anything that's labeled no drop shouldn't be disarm-able should it?

No drop items were disarm-able on live, they went into your inventory.

This is not true. Nothing you disarm, should go into your inventory. It either goes on ground, or mob stops equipping it.

No Drop items are supposed to go on the ground if they are not magic. If it is magic, then it goes into the mobs inventory, ie, you should see them no longer equipment, but it will be there when you loot them.

I PL my cleric in OT on live, by disarming berserkers and picking up the braid on the ground. The item on the ground lasted about 6 min, and I was able to log out sk, and log back in cleric, and pick it up. Got super duper exp, turning in the braids around level 40 on cleric. The log out, log in, was a pain though.

So no drop should be on the ground, unless it is magic. Magic stays on mob, but they will no longer equip. Fine steel weapons, don't drop to the ground, because they are magic.

The braid should have been on the ground, where the berserker was standing, when you did the sucessful disarm. The braid is non-magic, so it is disarmable, where it will drop to the ground. When disarm was added, I used berserkers braids to test the dropping to the ground for no drop, non-magic items. So it should work.
