Error 1017 Cannot log in to the Everquest Server

Ok so I got the game to open up and then I used the alt enter to resize the window to be visible, but now when i select the blue or red sever for P99, I am booted back out. I am using winEQ, but still it wont load. I was able to connect to the PEQ server but wasnt able to do anything upon entering. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to play this game.
