Default washout

Every time I play the game, when I am done I have to reboot, because my screen is washed out. Anyone else have this problem and if so, know how to fix it? Thanks.

I had that for a long time, too.

One way to get it correct again, was to rightclick on your desktop and click through to Calibrate Color. You didn't have to finish it, afaik, but it was tedious.
The other way was starting up EQ again (just to Server select or even only to your account info) and leave the game again.

What fixed it for me, was either starting to play in windowed mode or using WinEQ2, i don't really remember.

The game still messes with the gamma settings when its running, but now it always reverts back to normal after i leave the game.

PS:
I used and still use Windows 7.

I use this app. When EQ is loaded, your Gamma goes to 1.5. When it closes, it should go back to 1.0, but if it doesn't you can fix it manually.
