Skill ups in general question

Alright. Is INT/WIS the "meta" when it comes to all forms of skill ups?

I ask these question because my Ogre SK with like 90 INT, but 65 dex whos weapon skills are leveling at ass speeds. all of level 40 I went maybe 5-55 1hs skill.

Bad luck? shit dex? reroll warrior? stfu and disease cloud more?

This might be bullshit, but I've always felt like skillups happen more frequently when you're fighting something of appropriate level to the skill rating. Hits I think give a higher chance to skillup, so as you approach your skill cap it will probably raise faster.

It's not exciting but, you may want to try fighting much weaker mobs to get hits to get skillups more frequently at first.

Wis for skillups, but its only usefull for tradeskilling, melee skill ups will come just be patient.
Also, reroll war if you enjoy tanking and plan to go endgame.

SKs don't need quick weapon skillups... disease cloud is your friend til 39 (and beyond). Enjoy the snap aggro.

In five more levels you can get a Shaman to give Str + Dex + Focus to get a huge dex increase. Not that that helps for the next five levels, but later on it should make a big difference.
