Default Saw monk Zone Mend for 4 hours in SK

This monk was camping the single spawn on top of Gnoll Mound above the PAW zoneline. He would kill it, mend, then zone in and out of PAW to get his mend to pop back up...when I asked what he was doing, he told me thus.

Does this not seem like an exploit? Also, monks making 2,000 plat + an hour doing Power leveling using the FD "exploit" seem like one also?

I played in 1999 and remember when they finally fixed the FD bug. It was part of what allowed players to cut corners, aka "exploit."

What do you think? Not trying to call anyone out or be confrontational, just really wondering if this is something that is "Classic" so just being left.

I saw these mages the other day just sending their pet on mob after mob with no down time... no wonder these mages are making 1k per hour! Doesn't this seem like a balancing issue? shouldn't something be done? i know this is "classic" but it seems out of whack!

See what i did thar?

It's as it was back in classic, so exploit or not, it's in.

Its the game set as it was in 1999, and its what you signed up for. The classes were not always balanced

As I stated at the end of my post, I figured as much.

Uh, mend didn't work like that in classic. You had to wait for the cooldown to elapse. You couldn't just zone to reset it.

edit: nevermind, I don't remember it ever working like that, but I could be wrong...
