Default Where to go as 19 iksar necro?

Honestly having trouble finding a good place to be. I left kunark, I could get a ride back there I suppose, but just finding myself bored of Kurn's.

Where's a decent place to go at this point?

Generic answer here but the Deepwater crocs in Oasis would still be great exp for the next level or 2. There's really no loot in it at all though so keep that in mind

If you thought Kurns was boring (it is indeed), stay away from the ‘bard diet’. That is the most incredibly mind-numbing thing you could ever do.

19... you are perfect for Upper Guk. Make your way to the Squire area for excellent exp. careful of the shaman deeper in. I’d stick around squire. There will be enough even and blue cons to be worthwhile and help you learn what can be a very difficult dungeon if you are unprepared.

Also, there are usually people LfG. Do that for fun and camps that will be too much for a solo 19 Necro.

You can also go to unrest at that level for MR camp action.

Solo stuff is well-documented.

Bind outside, of course.

I leveled in LoiO from 19 to 30. Saw necros soloing in the zone and partnered with one of them several times. Most people are soloing here but if you send tells to other players you'd be surprised how many people will be willing to group if you ask them.

Thanks everyone--one thing I'm wondering a little bit, as I'm mostly used to fear kiting and I don't think I can do that here...what's the strategy for killing in close quarters? Do I just DoT up and toss pet and tank it?

You are reaching the last few levels where tanking is viable. Dmg shield helps here. But, if you can get single mobs, dots, pet and pet heals will work.

And you have FD!

Two minute respawn, can drop FS and an easy solo camp until level 24 or so.

You can also do OT near the WW zl, when i went through on my 19 necro there was a lot of blue and white cons and its tons of open area.
