The Wiki has a few select guides that are accurate. Other than that I can suggest checking Zam and using your own intuition and research to see if it is outdated or revamped, or try using archive.org in conjunction with it to look something up.
I've never had a problem finding what I needed through these methods or a little inventive Google searching. If you do all that and can't find anything else, do a forum search here and if nobody has addressed it you can just ask for a little insight.
