Default leveling issues as always newbie here.

hi all i play a female troll sk im new so im not wearing fungi or haste or anything special.
i leveled to about 4 in west freeport on bats, rats, firebeetles, orc pawns, and decaying skeletons, as well as the snakes. once i was 4 i went to steamfont and leveled off the kobolds there till 8 now im 8 and stuck i have no clue where i can go as a troll being big tall evil hated so where can i go xp solo or group and sell. i looked at the guides on the wiki but they werent very helpful field of bone pit has too many mixed lvl 12-16 mobs with the level 7-10s and crushbone only has mobs that give xp at the keep area. otherwise the zone is green at like 9. befallen well im too big to really move around inside. soooo where can i go? keep in mind im new and dont have anything special to be over powered or anything.

Thanks In Advance safe hunting everyone.

I love the idea of FoB, then heading into Kurns until around 20. Other than that, head to Nro until 12, then oasis. Or go to Crushbone on Fay and find a group

If you do go to kurns which I encourage. Don't kill mole men in the FoB pit or inside kurns. That way you can do basement in kurns. Otherwise you'll have to fight SK and Necro mole men in kurns basement if you try it.

If you want to be close to your spells for level 9 I would suggest sticking around east commons and north ro.
There are usually groups kicking around those orc camps. Also just inside nektulous forest on the right is a tower with 3 undead might be okay for another level or so.

Go to crushbone! Just remember CB wrecks your dark elf warrior faction if you value that. However, you do build some dwarf faction and tons of wood elf faction.

As a troll once you kill tons of CB orcs you can walk around Kelethin freely but vendors might not like you enough to sell to you. The best thing about Crushbone is tons of XP and you can sell CB belts for 3pp and Lego pads for 5pp each.

Go to CB with lots of bags and you will leave with plats! The only issue is you have no close SK trainers or spell merchants. I would recommend grabbing your spells early.

Get the ones you need up to lvl 15 then live in CB till you are lvl 20.

By this point you can train in all your defensive skills including double attack which is the most important one you get at level 20.

As you get CB belts and pads, people will offer to buy them inside CB and outside so you can sell them as you accrue them.

When I was new with nothing, no friends and no type of connections.. I leveled in South Ro from level 5 to 14.

I started in the green southern area and killed snakes until I was able to try the orcs. The orc camp nearest the innothule swamp zoneline is where I would recommend. You have a pair to break up at the tent and then one up the hill thats always solo. I killed orcs until I got to level 12 and then moved to the desert area and killed Cutthroat Dervishs until level 14.

For selling, theres a vendor in the NW corner that sells bandages/food/water thats away from all the roaming mobs (#1 on wiki map). I sold here since mobs roam through the Dark Elf merchant area which can be dangerous. Your also not too far away from home if you preferred going back to Grobb to sell/bank

There are far better places for groups/xp, but thats how I began my adventures here

I, too, would recommend Southern Ro until about 14 and then Oasis until 20. There are gypsy merchants, and your hometown is close.
