Spend about 1k to buying your way to 180 research.

Redo Staff of the Wheel quest and you have your spell.

If you wasted your points on something stupid then GL trying to obtain this.

If I am not mistaken they nerfed the rune of astral and rune of frost that drops from the planes so that they will not combine and the runes given by the staff of the wheel quest yield no drop runes which when combined yield a no drop Ice Comet spell.

Vox loot includes a droppable version of ice comet.

So, it is possible to buy.

I always assumed those that were selling it had copies that were around before the runes were nerfed.

Easiest way is to buy 180 Research and redo Staff of the Wheel.

I don't really understand how that is the easiest way... It sounds like the cheapest way though.

Well technically if you already have the staff (and the little gem that you also get) then you don't HAVE to redo the quest. Unless you don't want to give up the staff that is.

Is the staff of the wheel quest hard for you? Is having about 1k and 180 skill points to burn difficult?

Can you visit a trainer, locate research and then click train 180 times?

Or I guess you could poop sock Vox.
