Merchants: Paineel Skel Merchant Faction not changing with skele form

In Paineel, the skele merchants are not changing faction to amiable when I'm in skele form (level 34 necro spell call of bones). IIRC, in classic, skele illusion made you amiable to most skeleton NPCs. The guards in Paineel correctly change to amiable correctly, just not the merchant skels.

I'm having trouble verifying this since EQ changed illusions giving faction changes around Luclin, so if anyone has a source for this or a better memory than I do from live let me know.
