How is the faction in WL these days?

Nerfed? If so, how does it compare to other areas? Faction groups still happen?

Only the named giants got faction nerfed, as far as I know. There are still faction groups but it's hit and miss and nothing close to what there used to be the last few times I've checked. Usually maybe like 1 group factioning during prime time compared to 20+ people factioning basically all hours a day that it used to be.


It's still doable but better to tag along to Kael raids.

WL still the way to go for coldain, KD proper (arena) grants far more faction per kill, but are more segregated into mostly CoV only. Platehouse = best since you get both factions and loots

WL super nerfed. What used to take 300-400 hits is now over 1k hits.

So if my goal is to just get not KOS to CoV and reasonable coldain faction a group in WL is still ideal? (assuming a group in WL doing the named is running).

Plate house would be sweet for my nearly 58 warrior but requires more organization.
Arena again sweet for CoV faction and armor but requires ... organization.

My other option is self (solo) slaughtering in GD, EW, IC, or weak side of Kael (high mob regen).

My goal is to be both not KOS to CoV and high enough faction Coldain to work armor on my warrior.

I know people in my guild do Plate house for faction now instead of WL

A hit off AoW or Statue about 4-5 hours in WL now.

Much of the time 2 or 3 groups of people seem to be turning over spawns in Arena. Keep a check on /who all kael, send tells, then switch to your faction hungry alt when it looks like factioning is happening!

Most arena mobs don't give coldain faction though. All my high level toons are dorf/dragon capped thanks to WL. At this point just need for those two for my warrior.
