Default Not working on wine 2.16

Hello. I am running Void Linux with wine 2.16. I want to play EverQuest and I followed the Getting Started guide and extracted the P99 patch and moved out the unnecessary files (arena.egq etc), but the game does not work when I try to run it. I run it with `wine eqgame.exe patchme` and it gives me errors:

Code:
err:x11settings:X11DRV_ChangeDisplaySettingsEx No matching mode found 1280x720x32 @0! (XRandR 1.2)

 (perhaps a 16 bit one ?)

and so on.. It just keeps spamming th 16-bit threading error. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried looking around in this forum and found that other people got this game to work on Wine so it'd be nice if someone could help. Thanks :-)
