Default West Freeport newbie area mobs wrong

So I just got started with everything and got my UI fixed up so that it looks correct. Now the only thing left is that all the mobs in the West Freeport newbie area look like people and not rats/bats/fire beetles.

Any idea why? They look fine in East Freeport.

Thanks,

Ocelo

Someone said something about "patching" to p99 in /ooc? I thought there was no "patching" at all? Is there a patch I should be downloading besides the setup files?

Also, I am using the Secrets of Faydwer client. Everything else seems to be going smoothly.

I also used to experience this on occaision when I ran EQ years ago on the SOE servers. It would come and go with patches.

It's your client that's causing all the mob to look human.
If you were using Titanium you would not have this issue.

I'd be more inclined to believe that is the answer if the newbie mobs were wrong in the neighboring zone, but they are correct. Seems like if the client was the culprit, they'd be wrong in both zones.

It is definitely the client. This server runs off Titanium client and not SoF client.

Certain zones were revamped in SoF. When that happened the model files for those zones were removed. Hence why the models are correct in some zones and not others. Try running to Nektulos and see what happens.
