most likely im thinking this post will be deleted but here goes, shards of dalaya is a badass eqemu with around 500-600 players, way more classic graphics that p99, way better server than p99 (no crashing EVER during zoning etc..) WAY WAY WAY better community than p99. most of the stuff is customized and renamed.. i just started playing it a week ago and its AMAZING, its as if i first logged on to everquest 10 years ago! all the experiences are new, the custom content is just mind blowing, the classic graphics are just insane also, shards of dalaya, google it, very easy to install as they have an installer and you dont need to replace a buncha files and crap. Shards of Dalaya is fun, but it's ridiculously easy.

It's a good distraction at best.

As far as the "no crashing EVER" and other nonsense, it has the same amount as any other Emu.

He even admitted to just starting a week ago. AKA, he has no fucking clue wtf is going on.

I've played shards of dalaya and it was fun at first because of all the custom shit, but I'm sorry, but all the buff bots and dual boxing ruins it for me. You HAVE to have all these AA to even be considered useful to some people.

You cannot say that "it's like I logged on to everquest 10 years ago" when most of everything is custom and near to nothing like it was 10 years ago.

Classic graphics as in what? The same graphics here? I like the custom updated graphics that were posted to make some of the textures look better, but that's about it. Spell graphics can be changed easily enough and you can use the luclin models there if you wanted, which is definitely not classic graphics.

The "community" at SoD is laughable at best. There is barely even one, because everyone just dual clients and raid/buffs themselves with everything imaginable with buffs that last for like 4 hours or some shit. Definitely not enjoyable if you aren't in a guild there.

Lets be honest.
If you say it has all this custom stuff and renamed, then its not like classic EQ.
P99 is the closest we have to the real thing, and P99 is the one that kicks ass.
So take your shards of dalaya shit, and move it to their forums.
And I'm sure others would agree.
Because here, we don't give two shits about SoD

and its not rediculously easy the leveling is on par with p99 and there are tons of tiered raids that actually require more than just a zerg of guilds

Actually, the leveling IS easy. Getting to 65 is a cinch and the rest is just a grind for AA like normal.

Unlike you, I have spent a significant amount of time there. I know what the server is about, the leveling, raiding, grouping, boxing, etc.

You can't inform me about anything on that server I don't already know.

Edit: and like I said, it's not a bad server. It's fun for a time. You will grow bored of it quickly. It's a boxing den of laziness. Buffbotting zzzzzzz
