Delay

hey all, having a specific issue

sometimes when i do something in game - can be anything (/con a mob, casting a spell, opening a door, sending a tell/hailing etc.) sometimes there is a second or two delay before it goes through.

my ms is fine, internet connection is good. did all the basic troubleshooting things out there for this box. this didn't start until a few weeks ago randomly. ive tried different installs on multiple computers in the house - same thing. I even get this same type of delay on agnarr! its almost as tho my internet connection/isp behaves with everquest (again both p99 and agnarr) in a strange way.

I haven't had the opportunity to try my install out on a different IP/internet connection (i know thats the most logical next step in troubleshooting this), so until then, my question is - has anyone had/have this issue before? and if so, whats may be something to try until i can test it on another connection to rule that out. open to any discussion and suggestions really
