Black screen with EQ cursor showing

I just installed EQ on Win 7 64bit and I cant seem to find any answers as to why I get a black screen and the gold EQ cursor showing when the game starts up. I've gone through and reset my eqclient.ini files, and still nothing is working. When i start the game up I get a black screen and all that shows up is the cursor. The only way I can currently play the game is putting it in windowed mode via Alt-Ctrl-Ent. I would like to play it in full screen mode so if any of you guys have a solution i'll be glad to try it. Thank!

From the login screen go to options and set your resolution to something low like 1024x768. Then once in game adjust it to what you want.

Thank you for the hastly response but, like stated in my post, it goes black right when the game starts up.

I fixed my problem. My guess is that there was a problem with having two monitors active. I disabled my secondary one and tried the game, works like a charm now.

Not a problem, it was something that has been bothering me for a while. Looking through all the sotes, nothing helped so i turned to my self. I cant tell you the tech side of why it dosnt work with dual or in my case tripple monitors but hey; that boot fit well.
