Returning old school player

Hey Everyone,

Been reading up on EQ a lot lately, making me miss the nostalgia of old school EQ. Started about a month after EQ originally came out, stopped playing a little after planes of power came out. Played a wood elf ranger on the Solusek Ro server. Made it to level 64. Got my epics, eyepatch of plunder, Tolans BP, etc. Got to level 60 mostly soloing, with a few groups here and there.

I guess just wondering if anyone has any advice, I'm pretty sure, like 99% sure I'm going with a ranger again even though its not a very desired class. I rerolled over and over and got probably half the classes to 30 before I went back to my original choice as a ranger and leveled him up. Are there decent ranger gear I would be able to pickup once I get some money? I don't really have a ton of time for grouping to get decent equipment due to work/family, being a ranger, etc.

Hopefully I can find my old box set of EQ and see you guys in Norrath!
