I was finishing up the Treant Fists quest today, running back from Kerra Island to Freeport and the same thing was happening to me today, as happened to me more than a decade ago, when I did the quest for the very first time: Multiple disconnects while running through the Karanas and Kith. Thanks developers! You somehow managed to replicate my crappy dial up connection from long ago. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

(Seriously, I am not sure what was causing the problems and I was able to log back in almost immediately, so that indicates some sort of server problem, right? If it had been on my end the block to keep people from two boxing would have kept me out until it cleared, right?)

Client issue, go check teh tech forums as it has alot of information about reducing the number of times you dc.

I'm actually not too worried about the disconnections. I was on my laptop computer playing from work and I don't do that very often.
