Sol A Lava Elemental room

So, me and my buddy running around Sol A, decide we wanna go get a Runed Lava Pendant, get to this gap where there is a draw bridge, and bam won't drop down. Clicking like crazy, floating over the lava, running all over.

Anybody know how to get past that spot to get to where the Lava Elemental spawns? Nobody in zone seems to know, and its driving me crazy!

The search feature assisted me. There's a secret room in the castle area just before the drawbridge with a switch.

Also in case you don't know there is a lava tunnel under where he spawns that he will flee down very annoying if you can't root or snare
