Game Mechanics: Puretone with instrument-required songs

Honestly, unsure if this is classic or not, could not find a relevant thread.

Currently if you use puretone without an instrument equipped (no horn / no epic), you cannot play Composition of Ervaj, you get the message that it requires a Brass instrument. I did not test with OOS and drum or Invis with flute, but I assume the same holds

Puretone is designed to act as if you have the best of every instrument equipped, so I assume it should allow you to play songs with an instrument requirement?
