Miscellaneous: Kerran Faction

Killing Kerrans in Kerra Ridge drops factions with Kerra, but doing quests with the Kerrans (Completed Rat Teeth, Luck of Alix, First and Second Test of Kejaar) raises faction with KerraIsle.

According to Alla, KerraIsle faction is supposed to have at least these NPC's on it:
* a kejekan awrat
* a kerra lion
* a kerra puma
* a kerran 'amir
* a kerran ispusar
* a kerran pasdar
* dozing ghulam
* Falthrik Lothoro
* kerran tiger spahi
* kerran tseq
* Khonza Mitty of Kerra

But when I killed a couple of those (Falthrik and a tseq), they dropped Kerra faction and had the same /con as the other NPCs on the island. Additionally, it lists killing Erudite Sentinels as a way to increase KerraIsle faction, but upon killing the NPCs, Kerra faction is raised instead.

I get the feeling that "Kerra" is the Kerran faction re-created by the EQEmu devs, while "KerraIsle" faction was the Kerran faction on live either pre- or post-zone removal.

Anyway, is there a way for you developers to check to make sure these two factions shouldn't actually be the same thing? While I know in the big picture no one probably cares about their Kerran faction, it'd be nice if doing their quests there on P1999 boosted faction with them, instead of some (possibly) non-existent faction. Otherwise you're relegated to basically killing guards to boost faction with Kerra.
