Froze on first zoning. got dumped due to eq not responding. had "sony" ask me if It could use my hardware to see what I was using for my comp specs at character select screen. froze again. froze again. froze again. got dumped from character select and got the 1018 error that drove me nuts in 2002 when I rage quit. and all this in the 23 minutes I've been on since installing. and yes I did the installation exactly like it's explained in the tutorial from this site and deleted the correct files. so wtf does sony actually still run this game?? it's like I never left except I'm level one.

any and all help is appreciated. I came back to play with friends and relive the nostalgia. I don't get this from normal eq1 with daybreak. there it's just "wtf when did they put planes gear on level 12 mobs...."
