Default fighting myconid spore king on the ledge

so, it's pretty well known that sirken doesn't like people killing fungi king on the ledge or in the water. "exploiting" king he says, but I think it's time to finally clear this whole thing up...

something isn't an exploit just because you don't like it and bestow that ugly name upon it. Nothing about the ledge is an exploit - there's no los exploit, no kiting exploit, nada. any mob that aggros you will reach you, and los aggro is very much a problem if you don't play well. there's nothing special about the ledge other than the fact it is a good place to fight. banning "good" things and calling them exploits seems a little silly. It's the equivalent of banning turgur's insects on king because it makes it too easy. It is 100% classic, you can even log on modern day live and it works the same there today. you see people duoing king and need to realize that they arent doing it because of that spot, they are doing it because of other things - slow, torpor, p99 sneak pulls, being decent players, etc.

awhile back on sirkens stream he went nuts over this spot, listing off all these mystical properties of the ledge, none of which were accurate. this tells me that sirken just has some wrong info about the place, and should give it another look.

look, i can understand that the devs may not like that there is a spot that makes it much easier to duo king. but i just wanted to make sure that we're all on the same page here.

PS: (I have no input on fighting him in the water as I've never done that strat.)
