SK weapons

So, I've saved up 270 plat on my SK and was wondering is there anything like Ghoulbane for SK's? I've seen Dark Reaver? Is that the idea that a Pally mainly uses sword and board and SK uses 2hder for leveling? I know I should have multiple weapons to level up skills but since I'm on a budget just looking towards one good weapon and then get another later.

A dark reaver or a GZ are about the best you can do before saving up for the mithril 2 hander. They're both decent weapons.

Enameled black mace (8/28) is in your price range. It is a fine weapon from 1-10, decent 10-20, after that the damage trails a 2hander like dark reaver (or any other 20/42 2h). But leveling your 1hb is valuable because the MoSS (19/29 mace that is easy to get and floods the market once kunark comes out) will be your main weapon in kunark until you can get high end stuff. For 1hs the closest SKs have to GB is Crystalline Blade (11/39 from perma) and Runed Falchion (11/34 from Lguk) and some planar nodrop weapons.

Very good point. MoSS was the first nice weapon I saved up for in EQlive. A very nice Barbarian helped me out on the 2hs so I think I will grab a Enameled Black Mace for a 1hder and then focus on getting my Dark Forge pieces.
