Is trading account for an other account legal?

Iam asking myself.
I made a monk and after 41 levels, i realised that i would like to have a healer.
I havent time to restart a new char.
So i would like to know if tradding account is legal or not?

No, it was outlawed in 2011.

Sold my blue "Swish" account in that time, and had plat for dayyyzzz.

Selling for $$ was never allowed.

i wasnt asking to sell my account but trading a character for an other character.

Don't let the bad apples in here get to you. It's the blue server raid scene, it takes its toll on people.

Best thing to do is to transfer anything of value to a new account (or just make another character on the existing one).

Yeah, don't listen to those jerks. I've no idea how to answer your question as I have no experience in that department, but why not just make a new character on your account just in case you want to play the monk again later?
