i had took a break like 5 or 6 months back after not being able to login to the game i figured i forgot my username password so i created a new account but when i logged in out of curiosity i created a char with my old toons name and it went through so i guess they just deleted my account?

Well, if your character's still exist then surely your old account does? It sounds like either you forgot your account details, or, more sinisterly, someone else knew your details and perhaps changed your password?!

no it created a character using the old name and it let me that means that character doesn't exist

Your account was probably not deleted. I have taken a 2 year break in the past and come back to all of my toons still around.

They would not have just deleted your account. More than likely you have named your current character differently, but just don't remember it.
