![]() Just wondering how exactly is experience split up between the amount of people you have in a group? I know solo is obviously the greatest amount you can get, but do you get the same amount if you have 2 and 3 people in a group? Do you receive less experience if you have 4, 5 people or a full group?

![]() The experience is divided up relative to the amount of total exp people have, with a bonus for each additional person in the group of about 4%.

![]() in that case you'll always get more exp with 3 peeps in a group than with 2, and with 4 rather than 3 etc? now how about the full group bonus is that an even greater increase than the 4%ish?

![]() I don't know what P1999 has, and I can't recall when the change was made, but at some time on live, a 6th person would not divide exp any further ( i.e. group with 6 got same exp per person per kill as group with 5). This was done to encourage having full groups.

![]() I think that change was in PoP.
Pretty sure that exp here is evenly distributed without a bonus. You're in a full group, you kill a mob, you get 16.7% of the exp (further less if you group has exp penalties). It's not always best to add someone to a group, especially if they're an unnecessary hybrid or carry some other exp penalty (monk, race, etc).

![]() There is a bonus 2% exp for each additional group member. It doesn't quite make up for the additional split but it means it's not as harsh.
